There's never been a better time to catch up with The Conjuring Universe than right before Ed and Lorraine Warren take on their final case in the upcoming movie The Conjuring: Last Rites. That's right, Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson will soon make their last outing as the ghost-hunting duo, and we're so sad about it. However, with just weeks left to binge the already released movies before Last Rites hits the big screen, you may be wondering, which films are worth watching, and which are more skippable than spooky.
The original movie, directed by Saw's James Wan, hit the big screen in 2013 and scared audiences silly with a story based on real-life events, following real-life demonologists, the Warrens, investigating the famous Amityville haunting in 1971. Over 10 years later, the franchise has spanned 9 movies, with one more on the way. As well as the three and counting Conjuring movies, there are multiple The Nun and Annabelle spin-offs, and a movie based on Latin American folklore. However, as with many horror franchises, some entries are better than others.
