On a windy day in Florida, two years ago, I did my first 360 on a personal watercraft (PWC). I can tell you for sure this wouldn't have happened if I hadn't been riding a Sea-Doo Spark Trixx at the time. But as the day went on and I spun water rings on the RXP-X 325 before hopping back on the Spark, I couldn't help but feel it lacked a bit of oomph; For 2027, Sea-Doo remedied that.
The Sea-Doo Spark Trixx I rode in 2024 put out 90 hp, which was fine to have a good time mucking around on. But for 2027, Sea-Doo has launched an all-new model in the Spark X, which comes with a host of upgrades, one of which is power. The Spark X uses a new Rotax ACE 1000, a three-cylinder, 899 cc engine, an upgrade over the Rotax 900 ACE powerplant used in the Spark lineup until now.
