Certain fish in Dive Down have unique appearances and earn more money per second than others. These are called mutated fish and will also sell at a higher price. There are different Dive Down mutations with unique effects and multipliers. All Mutations in Dive Down - Multipliers & How to Get
There are two different types of mutations in Dive Down: Ocean and Weather. Fish have a random chance of appearing with an Ocean mutation in the different diving areas. On the other hand, fish with Weather mutations will only spawn during certain weather conditions.
All Ocean Mutations in Dive Down
Right now, there are only three Ocean mutations in Dive Down. The table below lists all of them, their multipliers, and how you can spot them while diving down.

All Weather Mutations in Dive Down
Just like the Ocean mutations, there are three Weather mutations in Dive Down right now. However, these Weather mutations work slightly differently from the Ocean mutations. Fish with weather mutations do not spawn in the Ocean. Instead, Weather mutations are applied to the fish in your aquarium during a weather event.
Weather events spawn randomly and can last for up to 3 minutes. There is a weather machine on every bridge that you can use to start any weather event you want. However, you’ll need to spend Robux to do that.

Dive Down FAQs
Rainbow is currently the best mutation in Dive Down as it has the highest multiplier (3.0x). That is also why it has the lowest spawn chance out of all the mutations.
No, fish can not have multiple mutations. Moreover, one fish can only have one type of mutation. So, if a fish has a Gold, Silver, or Rainbow mutation, it can’t get any of the weather mutations. Similarly, one fish can’t have multiple weather mutations or ocean mutations.
To start a weather event, go to any bridge and interact with the weather machine. From there, choose the weather you want to spawn and pay Robux to spawn the event.
