Diablo 4’s second expansion, Lord of Hatred, launches on April 28, 2026, on PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. It marks the return of the much-awaited Diablo villain, Mephisto, introduces the new Skovos region, Paladin and Warlock classes, among other new additions and improvements.
Early response to the Lord of Hatred expansion has been incredibly positive, with most critics praising the new story campaign, some even calling it the darkest Diablo story to date, as well as its new class additions and endgame improvements.
Like Vessel of Hatred, Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred is a full-priced expansion, with the base edition costing $39.99 across all platforms. In addition, there are three more editions, each offering additional content and items.
