Paul Scholes believes Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba would get into Liverpool or Manchester City’s starting XI 'in his best form'.
Pogba returned from a three-month absence with a thigh injury at the start of February and has impressed, scoring his first goal of the season against Burnley earlier this month.
The Frenchman then impressed again on Sunday as his side beat Leeds United 4-2 at Elland Road in the Premier League.
And when asked following his old side’s win on Sunday if any United players would get into either Liverpool or City’s side, Scholes replied Pogba, despite admitting he was a 'big critic' of the midfielder.

“Pogba in his best form would,” he Premier League Productions. "He is indicative of what the club are doing. Every player is inconsistent. People running the club are inconsistent in what they are doing.
“I have been a big critic of Paul, but if you are an opposing player going to Old Trafford and you are playing against Fred and McTominay 'all day long'.
“Now, you don’t know what you are going to get with Paul. But when he is on his game, he is brilliant.
“But when he isn’t, then against your Liverpool and Man City’s, you might struggle in them areas. Where do Man United go next year to replace him?”
A recent report from the Manchester Evening News claimed that United are still planning for Pogba to leave in the summer as he approaches the final months of his contract.
The report claimed that sources close to Pogba say there is still no inclination for the midfielder to commit to United at the 11th hour and his situation remains unchanged.
Ralf Rangnick's United side currently sit fourth in the table, 11 points behind Liverpool, who they face at Anfield at the end of next month.
Pogba was sent off just 15 minutes into the second half of United's game against Liverpool at Old Trafford earlier this season for a reckless challenge on Naby Keita.
