Both of the candidates running in the Nov. 18, 2023, general election for Louisiana House of Representatives District 74 — Peter Egan (R) and Buffie Singletary (R) — completed Ballotpedia’s Candidate Connection survey. Egan:
“Create a formal structure to constantly hear the priorities of the constituents. That would mean frequently scheduled meetings and events to where their priorities are well aligned with my actions.”
Singletary:
“State Representatives need to understand the needs of their district and bring those needs to the legislature. My main responsibility as the State Representative for District 74 will be to remain in constant communication with our residents and find creative ways to improve their quality of life while also watching out for all residents of Louisiana.”
