EMPULSE uses a compact loadout system, and each weapon can take two attachments. So, knowing what each attachment does to the weapons is the fastest way to build a better setup.
All weapon attachments in EMPULSE and their uses
Attachments on weapons change depending on the gun you’re using in EMPULSE:
| Attachment | What it does | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Grip | Makes your aim steadier and reduces weapon kick, helping you track targets more consistently | Mid-range fights and if you want better control |
| Extended Mag | Gives you more bullets before reloading Reduces downtime in long or messy fights |
Multi-enemy struggles, missed shots, and players who want more uptime |
| Laser Sight | Improves hip-fire and fast target acquisition Makes your weapon feel more responsive in close range |
Aggressive, close-range players who move a lot |
| Barrel Extension | Boosts range or bullet performance Helps your weapon hold up better beyond point-blank |
Mid-to-longer range duels and safer positioning |
| Quick Draw | Lets you aim down sights faster Improves first-shot timing and reaction speed |
Aggressive peek-and-shoot gameplay and fast duels |
| Reinforced Rounds | Increases shot impact or improves damage-related performance in specific situations | Loadouts that want more punch instead of pure handling |
| Tagger | Adds utility by helping you track or pressure targets and gain more information from shots | Tactical players who value awareness as much as kills |
| Delayed Health Regen | Affects how fights unfold after you take damage Gives you extra control over post-damage situations |
Situational, utility-focused playstyles |
What attachment to use first in EMPULSE
If you are still learning EMPULSE, start with the Grip, as it’s the easiest way to make a weapon feel better. Extended Mag is the easiest way to reduce reload stress, and Quick Draw is one of the best ways to win faster duels.
Once you know how a weapon behaves, you can swap into more specialized options like Tagger, Reinforced Rounds, or Delayed Health Regen. Here are a few easy starter ideas based on playstyle:
- Aggressive player: Quick Draw + Laser Sight
- Balanced player: Grip + Extended Mag
- Safer mid-range player: Grip + Barrel Extension
- Utility-focused player: Tagger + Extended Mag
EMPULSE attachments are designed to shape how a weapon feels, not just how much damage it does. If you want the best results, match your attachments to your usual range and tempo.
Each loadout includes one P.A.I.N.T Bomb that changes the floor’s properties when thrown. You also get three Perks per loadout, split into three slots.
