Every part of the Liverpool City Region has recorded a rise in positive Covid tests.
According to the latest data from Public Health England the Liverpool City Region there were 1,060 cases in the week ending June 6, which is 184 more than the previous week.
This meant there was a week-on-week percentage change increase of 21%.

The rises in the Liverpool City Region were: 30% in Knowsley; 9% in Liverpool; 48% in Halton; 86% in St Helens; 10% in Wirral; and, 11% in Sefton.
West Lancs, Cheshire West and Chester, and Warrington, logged increases in positive tests.
In England overall, the week-on-week percentage change figure went up by 32%.
Liverpool
Liverpool's positive tests came to 300 cases in the week ending June 6, which is 24 more cases than the previous week. This meant the week-on-week percentage change figure went up by 9%. The latest infection rate was 59.9 cases per 100,000 people.
Wirral
Wirral's positive tests came to 225 cases in the week ending June 6, which is 21 more cases than in the previous seven days. This meant the week-on-week percentage change figure went up by 10%. The latest infection rate was 69.4 cases per 100,000 people
Halton
There were 114 positive tests over the last week - that's 37 more cases than in the previous week. This means the week-on-week percentage change figure went up by 48% in Halton in the week ending June 6. The latest infection rate is 87.9 cases per 100,000 people.
St Helens
There was a total of 132 cases in the week ending June 6, which is 61 more cases than in the previous week. The latest infection rate in St Helens is 72.9 cases per 100,000 people and the week-on-week percentage change figure rose by 86%.
Knowsley
There was a total of 101 cases in the week ending June 6, which is 23 more cases than in the previous week. The latest infection rate in Knowsley is 66.3 cases per 100,000 people and the week-on-week percentage change figure went up by 30%.
Sefton
Sefton had a total of 188 cases in the week ending June 6, which is a 18 more cases than in the previous week. The latest infection rate is 68.1 cases per 100,000 people and the number of cases rose by 11% week on week.
Liverpool City Region
There were 1,060 positive tests over in the week ending June 6, which is 184 more cases than in the previous week. This means the week-on-week percentage change went up by 21%. The latest infection rate is 62.25 cases per 100,000 people.
Warrington
There were 160 positive Covid-19 tests in the week ending June 6, which is 47 more cases than the previous week. The week-on-week percentage figure increased by 42%. There was an infection rate of 76.41 per 100,000 people.
Cheshire West and Chester
There were 307 positive Covid-19 tests in the week ending June 6, which is 103 more cases than the previous week. The week-on-week percentage figure went up by 51%. There was an infection rate of 89.29 per 100,000 people.
West Lancs
There were 81 positive Covid-19 tests in the week ending June 6, which is 18 more cases than the previous week. The latest infection rate in West Lancs is 70.74 cases per 100,000 people, and the week-on-week percentage went up by 29% in cases.
England
In the week ending June 6, England recorded 45,916 coronavirus cases, which is 11,249 more cases than in the previous seven days. The week-on-week percentage increased by 32.4% in England. There was an infection rate of 81.20 per 100,000 people.
