Where is the Big Boss NPC in Abyss?
The Big Boss NPC is located in the Valentine’s Event area. The event zone is right next to the game’s first central hub, the Forgotten Dome, and you’ll see a sign in the sea pointing toward it; it’s incredibly hard to miss. To the right of the leaderboards and to the left of the developers’ table, you’ll spot a sign that says Valentin’s. Dive straight into the sea from there, and you’ll enter the event stage directly.
How to Start the Big Boss Questline?
Once you arrive at the Valentine’s Event area, speak with the Big Boss. There will be several dialogue options: one to learn about the event, one to find out who the Big Boss NPC actually is, and a final option to ask if he has any jobs for you. Choose the last option, and it will kick off his first quest, assuming you accept it, which you absolutely should.
All Big Boss Quests in Abyss Valentine’s Event
In total, there will most likely be at least 14 different Big Boss quests, since the event lasts for 14 days. However, we can’t fully confirm this until the event concludes. When Do Big Boss Quests Reset?
Given that this is an event questline, you should be aware that these are limited-time quests. You will have only 14 days to complete them before they are permanently removed. So make sure to be quick about it, and finish all of them before the event ends.
However, you won’t be able to complete all of them at once due to time restrictions. Big Boss’s quests reset every 24 hours, but this timer isn’t server-wide. Instead, the 24-hour countdown begins the moment you complete a quest. In other words, the reset is based on your personal timer from the time you participate in the event.

I recommend using them on event-exclusive items, such as gun skins and Heart Geodes. Event skins are the only items that will stay with you after the event ends, making them the best investment.
