Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker may be fluent in the language of keeping clean sheets, but when it comes to understanding one of his teammates he's still none the wiser.
The Brazilian stopper has appeared in a video on Liverpool's official website, as part of an interview alongside fellow countryman Fabinho.
During the feature, titled 'Kop Kids Kickabout', the pair face questions from some very young reporters. When asked who's accent they would rather have - Trent Alexander-Arnold or Andy Robertson - Fabinho shakes his head before Alisson responds with "Trent".

Showing a journalistic thirst for more insight, one of the child interviewers asks: "What's wrong with Robbo's accent?" Justifying his choice, Alisson said: "I can't understand him," before laughing alongside Fabinho.
Fortunately, it appears that a failure to get to grips with the Scotland captain's Glaswegian twang has not prevented the Reds from not only winning the Carabao Cup, but continuing their pursuit of an unprecedented quadruple of trophies this season, with less than two months to go.
It seems that as long as players can understanding winning, strong accents are less of a problem.
