Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker posed with his finger strapped up after failing to play any part in Brazil's two international friendlies this month.
The Reds shot-stopper was the standout player last season as Jurgen Klopp's side endured a difficult campaign. With their frailties exposed, they had the former AS Roma goalkeeper to thank for sparing their blushes after being called upon to make a number of crucial saves.
Alisson asserted his importance to Liverpool throughout the campaign and scooped the Player of the Season award keeping 17 clean sheets from his 47 appearances in all competitions.
The Brazil number one jersey remains a shirt that he hasn't quite cemented after being embroiled in a battle with Premier League rival and Manchester City's Ederson.

Selecao were due to face Guinea and Senegal this month but an injury emerged a day after training in preparation for the Liverpool stopper.
In a statement, the Brazilian football federation said: "Goalkeeper Alisson suffered a small trauma to the little finger of his left hand during training on Friday (16) for the Brazilian national team.
"Therefore, he will not be able to face the selection of Guinea, this Saturday, in Barcelona. He woke up with some pain in the area.
"Alisson will continue with the group to Portugal, where Brazil will play with the Senegal team on Tuesday (20). Coach Ramon Menezes will still define Alisson's replacement. In the group there are two more goalkeepers: Weverton and Ederson."
As he posed on the plane, he showcased strapping to fingers on his right-hand which he posted on his Instagram stories.
Brazil's international break ended in disappointment as former Liverpool attacker Sadio Mane scored twice to down them in a friendly in Lisbon. Following the conclusion of the duty with his country, Alisson jetted off on holiday ahead of pre-season with the Reds which is due to start at the beginning of July.
