Alisson Becker is convinced Liverpool can call on a "fantastic player" once Arthur Melo gets up to speed at his new club.
The Reds signed Arthur on a season-long loan from Juventus on transfer deadline day last week in an attempt to address their availability issues in midfield.
The 26-year-old Brazil international could make his debut on Wednesday having been included as part of the squad that travelled to Italy for the Champions League group opener against Napoli.

And Alisson is confident Liverpool will benefit once compatriot Arthur - who hasn't featured in a game of any sort since May 11 - builds his fitness levels.
"Everything went so quick that I only spoke with him on the day that he was coming to Liverpool and after that at the training ground," said the Reds goalkeeper.
"He is an amazing guy. We are going to see more about him when you see him on the pitch. He is a fantastic player. I'm looking forward for him to be really fit and for him to be settled in as soon as possible.
"We know it's not easy changing from once country to another. I did the same move as him, coming from Italian football. I know there are some differences but in the end the football is the same. With his qualities and with his attitude and his desire he can overcome any of these small problems. I really believe that he can bring a lot of quality to the team and he is going to do well."
Alisson was injured when Liverpool were beaten 2-0 on their last visit to Napoli in 2019, but was between the sticks for the 1-0 reverse 12 months previous. The Serie A side have subsequently undergone a period of change under Lucian Spalletti - who was Alisson's boss at Roma - with a much-changed squad leaning towards youth.
And when asked about the new-look Napoli, Alisson said: "We are prepared for every situation. When you play against a team you try to learn as much as possible. Even if I worked before with Spalletti, this is not an advantage for myself for knowing him and the way he thinks.
"I recognise the quality of all the players from Napoli, young players as well with desire and passion. I believe it is going to be a great game and we will try to win, which is something that is really difficult to do here in Napoli."
Spalletti had spoken glowingly of Alisson earlier on Tuesday at Napoli's pre-match press conference, and Alisson added: "I'd like to thank the gaffer for that. I enjoyed the season I spent working with him at Roma. I improved a great deal over that season, even though I'd like to have played more and he knows that."
