Alisson Becker comforted his son after he had to receive his medical shots.
The Liverpool keeper was snapped comforting his son, Matteo, after a medical update left him feeling a little worse for wear today. Alisson held the three-year-old on his lap, helping him become "strong and brave" in a photo his mother, Natalia, later shared on Instagram.
Matteo faced a daunting trip to the hospital today where he had to receive his booster shots. Natalia said he cried at the prospect initially but braved through the process, leading her to thank God for his support.

In a lengthy caption to coincide with the image, she said: "Before I left the house, I told Matteo that we would get shots today. He soon started crying in fear. I comforted him, told him I understood him and told him to be strong and courageous, as God says in the word.
"His dad came along and he gave the lap Matteo needed to be strong and brave at that moment. Matteo cried yes at the time of the needle, but soon he was comforted by us and dad said "congratulations my son, you were strong and brave, daddy is proud.
She added: "I have learned that even though we cry and suffer in times of pain, we are strong and brave. What a special morning."
Ending with a bible quote, she said: "@alissonbecker "Isn't that what I ordered? Be strong and of good courage! Do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9 I am"
