Alisher Usmanov is set to be sanctioned by the UK government due to his ties with Russia and Vladimir Putin, according to multiple reports on Thursday evening.
The Uzbekistan-born billionaire is the own of USM Holdings, who saw their sponsorship agreements with Everton suspended on Wednesday alongside Megafon and Yota.
On Monday, Usmanov faced sanctions from the European Union over his close relationship with the Russian President following the country's military invasion of Ukraine.

On Thursday multiple sources, including the BBC and Financial Times, confirmed a pair of individuals had been added to a list to have received sanctions from the UK by Foreign Secretary Liz Truss.
Usmanov and Russian deputy PM Igor Shuvalov are the latest names to have been added to the list.
Everton's suspension of three major sponsorship agreements has already seen a number of changes made ahead of the club's fixture with Boreham Wood on Thursday evening.
"Megafon" branding on the side of the Park End at Goodison Park has been removed, numerous advertising boards have been taken out and the club's programme has been re-printed in order to take logos off its front.
Signage around the club's Finch Farm training complex is also being changed, while the Everton Women players lined up in kits without their usual sponsors during their 1-0 win over Aston Villa on Wednesday evening.
On Thursday morning, it was revealed that Usmanov's superyacht was seized in Germany.
