On Space.com, everyone can hear us scream about how much we love the Alien movies. The original Alien is easily one of the best space horror movies of all time, so it’s no surprise that it spawned a mega sci-fi franchise. The follow-up Aliens took the franchise into more action-horror territory and is maybe even more beloved than the original, and since then we’ve had some highs and lows that bounced back and forth between horror and action.
Are they all great? No, no they are not. Take a look at our guide to the Alien movies, ranked worst to best if you want to skip out on the duds, but we think any self-respecting sci-fi movie fan should still sit down and watch all the Alien movies in order. Yes, even Alien vs Predator Requiem.
