There’s no denying that “Alien: Earth” has emerged as one of the most compelling shows of the year on Hulu and Disney Plus. It’s a bold and ambitious extension of the famed “Alien” universe that blends high‑concept sci‑fi with relentless horror, even if it’s not primarily in space this time. Fans can now breathe a collective sigh of relief as the series has officially been renewed for season 2.
The announcement comes amid news that creator Noah Hawley has signed a new overall deal with FX and Disney Entertainment Television, marking a long‑term creative partnership and signalling that this season is just the beginning of a much larger story. FX Chairman John Landgraf said: “It has been our great privilege to work with Noah for more than a decade on some of FX’s best and biggest shows, and we are thrilled to extend our partnership well into the future.”
