Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has taken to social media as the fallout from being left on the bench against Celtic rumbles on.
The Colombian only made the bench at Ibrox against Ange Postecoglou's side just days after Michael Beale had confirmed he would leave the Light Blues at the end of his contract this summer - while taking aim at the performance levels that the frontman had produced since his return to Ibrox. With Rangers cruising to a 3-0 victory over the Scottish Premiership champions, many had expected Morelos to be given the chance for a Celtic swansong off the bench.
But Beale decided to give Alex Lowry and Zak Lovelace a chance over the club's record European goalscorer as Morelos nears the exit door. Following the game, the striker has taken to social media to deliver some cryptic clues about his feelings on the absence on derby day - and has not dropped another hint that he is irked by the snub.
The out of favour took to Instagram and shared an image of himself training during his turbulent final days at Ibrox. It was captioned" Cada dia mas fuerte" which translates to "Stronger every day."
He will hope that Beale believes he is "stronger" before the end of the campaign as he looks to add to his 12-goal tally this term. Morelos will also hope to attract other clubs with Sevilla and Fenerbahce named as potential destinations.
