Barry Ferguson reckons time is up for Alfredo Morelos at Rangers. However the former Ibrox captain reckons the same doesn't go for Ryan Kent - who will hang around to rekindle his relationship with boss Michael Beale.
Morelos and Kent are out of contract in the summer and both have been challenged by new boss Beale to stay around and fight for their futures. Neither have been in red hot form this season and the Colombian was a particular problem for ex boss Gio van Bronckhorst, who stripped him of his starting spot in favour of summer signing Antonio Colak.
Beale insists he's making no decisions just yet on the Rangers contract rebels and will give both the chance to earn new deals. Ferguson, speaking on the Go Radio Football Show, reckons that's good news for Kent - but not so much for Morelos who he believes is as good as gone.
He said: "I think Morelos could be on the move. Ryan Kent - there could be a possibility that he'll stay on because of the previous relationship he's had with Michael Beale. Not just the three years at Ibrox but he knew him as a young kid coming through at Liverpool, so that could sway him.
"Ryan Kent's struggled for form but one thing I've always said about him is you can't fault his effort. He did work hard, it just wasn't coming off for him. Maybe he was trying too hard but I do still think there's a dangerous player in there who can be a match winner.
"But Morelos on the other hand, I can't see him staying. I'm sure there'll be a bit of interest in him but if you're asking my opinion, I do think he'll be on the move."
