Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst says crucial future talks with Alfredo Morelos will beckon next week.
The Colombian striker is suspended for this Saturday's Premiership match against Ross County after a red card in last week's 2-2 draw at Hibs. Controversy has arose after his manager banished him from their Champions League play-off second leg squad at PSV midweek due to attitude and fitness concerns, his choice vindicated after number nine Antonio Colak scored to seal victory and send them into a group stage alongside Ajax, Liverpool and Napoli.
It's a draw that van Bronckhorst is looking forward to but Morelos talks will come first before those European endeavours. Looking ahead to the weekend and European excursions, the Ibrox manager has confirmed he'll be sitting down with the forward to discuss what the next steps are with regards his future. There's less than 12 months to run on the Rangers number 20's deal.

He said: "Alfredo will not be involved in the squad tomorrow and I will then sit down with him next week to have a discussion.
"The players who played on Wednesday are all keen to play again, we will play with a strong eleven and we have a really strong squad for the (Ross County) game.
"Champions League is the biggest club competition there is. Liverpool have been competing in the final. Ajax have been dominating in Holland and Napoli is also a great team. It is great for our development."
