Alfredo Morelos has posted a 'stay strong' message as the Rangers star made a goal scoring return at the weekend in the Ibrox win over Kilmarnock.
The Colombian hitman missed the crucial run in last term after picking up a thigh injury on international duty that required surgery and ruled him out of the title run in with Celtic, Europa League Final defeat to Frankfurt and the Scottish Cup triumph over Hearts. He climbed off the bench for the final 26 minutes ahead of Rangers' crucial Champions League return with Union Saint-Gilloise with the Ibrox men trailing 2-0 from last week's first-leg in Belgium. Giovanni van Bronckhorst was coy over whether the fans' favourite would be thrown in from the start after his return to top team action.
Morelos is ready to go should he be called upon as he revealed his satisfaction of his long awaited return and goal. He wrote on Instagram: "It's gratifying to be back on the pitch after four months of recuperation and to have been blessed to return with a goal.

"It's very satisfying,God willing I'll stay strong and keep on making progress every day."
Should Rangers turn the tie around on Tuesday night they will go through to the play-off round and face one of Monaco or PSV.
That would leave the Light Blues just potentially 180 minutes away from a spot in the Champions League group stages alongside rivals Celtic.
Both sides are two for two in the Premiership after weekend wins.
