Rangers star Alfredo Morelos could be set for his first start of the season in the Champions League group stage clash with Napoli.
The Colombian has been a fringe player so far this term with Antonio Colak securing his spot as the first-choice striker at Ibrox. Gio van Bronckhorst sensationally left the Colombian out of the squad to face PSV during their Champions League playoff clash, challenging him to ramp up his fitness to win his spot back in the starting line-up.
Since being brought back into the first-team picture, Morelos came off the bench during the 4-0 derby demolition at the hands of Celtic and failed to make an appearance as Ajax ran riot at the Johan Cruyff Arena during the group stage opener. However, the Ibrox boss has hinted that he could be about to shake-up the squad against the Serie A leaders following two disappointing results.
Van Bronckhorst admits the player has given him plenty to think about after impressing behind the scenes. Ahead of the clash with Napoli, the Rangers boss said: "Alfredo (Morelos) is in a good place mentally and physically.
"He is training really well and I have had a good conversation with him. He is in a far better place and makes it difficult for me to decide on my starting team."
