Alfredo Morelos has broken his Rangers injury silence with a defiant 'don't give up' social media message.
Morelos has scored 18 times this term in all competitions but has had an operation on a thigh injury sustained on international duty with Colombia at the end of last month.
He took to Instagram to share a message which read, "Dios te escogio para un proposito no te rindas" which is translated from Spanish to "God chose you for a purpose don't give up", along with two praying hand emojis.
Rangers confirmed earlier this week that Morelos would be sidelined until pre-season with the injury in a huge blow for Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
And the Gers boss knows just how much of a miss the striker will be in the season run in as Rangers compete for the Europa League, Scottish Cup and look to turnaround a six point deficit to retain the Scottish Premiership title.
He said: "It is a big blow to miss Alfredo. We know the problem and how long he is out, we now have to move on and focus on Thursday."
Rangers face Braga in the Europa League last eight on Thursday.
