Richard Foster claims Rangers won't miss Alfredo Morelos on current form - insisting the striker is "a bit of a liability".
The Colombian is set to serve a two-match ban after being shown a straight red by Willie Collum in Saturday's 2-2 draw with Hibs at Easter Road. Morelos swung an arm at Marijan Cabria and joined team-mate John Lundstram in being sent for an early bath.
Morelos only returned from an extended injury lay-off earlier this month and ex-Ibrox defender Foster reckons he's still lacking in match fitness. And he believes the weekend incident was a regression to Morelos' earlier Rangers career when he was sent off on a number of occasions. Foster told BBC Sportscene: "This weekend was Morelos back to what we saw when he first came over. He's lacking in match fitness so he's obviously frustrated at not playing on Saturday. But now he's going to miss the next two games because he can't play in them.
"He can be a huge asset for Rangers and he was magnificent before he got injured in the run last season. On the form he was in before he's a huge loss to Rangers.
"The way he is just now... they're probably not going to miss him that much because at the moment he's a bit of a liability."
