Alfredo Morelos's agent has held talks with Turkish giants Galatasaray over a potential move in the summer, according to reports.
The Rangers striker is out of contract at the end of the season and as it stands is set to leave Ibrox on a free. Rumours have constantly followed Morelos since his arrival in Scotland and earlier this month we reported the Colombian frontman had also spoken to La Liga outfit Sevilla about a move.
Morelos has fallen out of favour with Gers boss Michael Beale in recent weeks with Antonio Colak leading the line for his side. Turkish outlet Takvim is reporting the Istanbul giants have already spoken to his representatives and are due to speak again next week about a potential move. Morelos has been a mainstay since he arrived from Finish outfit HJK back in 2017. The forward is one of a number of first-team regulars who are out of contract this summer at Ibrox. Ryan Kent, Steven Davis, Ryan Jack, Allan McGregor and Scott Arfield are also due to leave the club as it stands.
Galatasaray currently lead fierce rivals Fenerbahce at the top of the Super Lig by six points, however they have a game in hand that could close the gap. Morelos, if he moves, could be playing Champions League football next term as the top two places in the league guarantee elite European football in Turkey.
Manager Okan Buruk is looking to replace Mauro Icardi who is set to return to Paris Saint Germain in the summer when his loan deal ends.
