Pre-season training at Hotspur Way is now underway as Tottenham prepare for the 2023/24 Premier League campaign. All change in N17 this summer, those currently present at the club's Enfield base are getting their first taste of life under new head coach Ange Postecoglou.
Although not all players are involved at the moment with a good few still enjoying their summer break after their participation in last month's international fixtures, the Australian still has plenty to work with. Players such as Tanguy Ndombele, Sergio Reguilon, Bryan Gil and Djed Spence have all returned from their respective loan spells, with Yves Bissouma, Emerson Royal and Ryan Sessegnon just some of the other players back at Hotspur Way on day one of training.
As ever, the numbers have been boosted by a host of the club's youngsters taking part in the sessions as they bid to catch Postecoglou's eye. Opportunities could well be there for them in Spurs' upcoming games, with West Ham, Leicester City, Roma and Shakhtar Donetsk all on the agenda before the opening day fixture away at Brentford.
So which youngsters have been spotted out on the training pitch at Hotspur Way so far? football.london takes a look below.
Troy Parrott
Parrott is now back at Hotspur Way after his year on loan in the Championship with Preston North End. A big summer for the player in his quest to become a Spurs regular in the future, another loan move looks likely as he aims to take his development to the next stage.
Always going to be judged on goals as he is a striker, the Republic of Ireland international really does need to start hitting the goal trail if he is to have a long-term future in north London. Featuring for the team in pre-season last summer, the 21-year-old will be hoping that chances come his way once again and he goes on to wow Postecoglou in the process.

Dane Scarlett
Scarlett is another striker returning to Tottenham after a loan spell in the 2022/23 campaign. Initially making his mark with League One side Portsmouth at the beginning of the season, the frontman's minutes unfortunately dried up from January onwards following a change of management.
Scarlett has a bit more time on his side compared to Parrott as he is two years younger than him but it's vital that his minutes increase next term and the goals flow in the process. Minutes could well come his way in pre-season before departing on loan for the campaign.
Alfie Devine
Devine seems made for Postecoglou's Tottenham system due to how the Australian lines up in midfield. The 18-year-old has all the qualities to be a major success in one of the two No.8 roles and the hope is that he will go on to star there for Tottenham in the not too distant future.
Perhaps a bit short in the position at present with Rodrigo Bentancur injured, Devine may well be given a go there by Postecoglou in the upcoming friendlies. While a loan move may be the better option for him this season, he could potentially give the head coach something to think about if he excels once given a chance.
Brooklyn Lyons-Foster
Lyons-Foster is no stranger to training with the first-team squad having been spotted working alongside them in the past. A tad short on defensive numbers at present with a handful of the team's centre-backs still on their summer break following their international commitments, the 22-year-old has the opportunity to impress Postecoglou.
A regular in Premier League 2 last campaign, the centre-back will be praying that he makes the trip to Australia and Asia with the rest of the squad.
Matthew Craig
Named in the first-team squad on a handful of occasions in the past, Craig's opportunity finally came his way on the final day of the 2022/23 season as he was introduced off the bench in the win at Leeds United. He will be intent on following that up by playing a part in Tottenham's pre-season friendlies.
Penning a new contract with the club that runs until the summer of 2026, the Scotland under-21 international is one for the future in the capital.
Harvey White
It is very much a case of now or never for White this summer as he is now in the final year of his Tottenham contract. Finishing last season on loan with Derby County, the midfielder really needs to be playing regularly in 2023/24 after limited football in recent campaigns.
The ideal window to part with the player due to his contract status, the ex-Portsmouth loanee will be hoping he can wow Postecoglou over the coming weeks as the Australian gets his plans in place for the future.
Yago Santiago
Santiago is another that has trained with the first-team squad on occasions in the past. A regular in Premier League 2 last season, the Vigo-born player will offer Postecoglou versatility as he can play in a variety of positions in the frontline.
