Alexis Mac Allister has explained why he has chosen to follow in the footsteps of Liverpool legends after his transfer from Brighton was officially confirmed.
Mac Allister will wear the number 10 jersey having penned a five-year deal at Anfield with the Reds having triggered a release clause in the player's contract.
The 24-year-old midfielder will keep the shirt number he wore during his time at Brighton, where he scored 20 goals in 112 appearances.
