Argentine left-back Alexandro Bernabei is set to join Celtic, according to a report.
Football Scotland say the 21-year-old has been on the Hoops' radar for some time and now it is thought a deal is close.
Bernabei made 24 appearances and provided two assists for Lanus in the Primera Division this season.
His teammate Julian Aude was also a reported target for the Parkhead side but it's claimed Bernabei is the man Celtic have decided on.
He will provide competition for Greg Taylor with Boli Bolingoli not viewed as a viable first-team option.
A combination of cover options were used last term including Josip Juranovic and Liam Scales and it is viewed as an area for improvement by Ange Postecoglou.
Meanwhile Celtic are reportedly close to appointing Harry Kewell to Postecoglou's coaching team.
The 43-year-old former Liverpool star has been out of work since being sacked by Barnet last year.
And Sky Sports say the Scottish champions are on the brink of appointing him as part of Postecoglou 's coaching set-up.
