A theme is emerging with regards to Arsenal goal celebrations as a new-found tradition continued during the 2-0 win over Leicester City on Sunday afternoon.
Last month when Alexandre Lacazette sparked wild scenes from fans, players and Mikel Arteta's coaching staff alike inside the Emirates Stadium by playing a key role in the Gunners' last gasp winner against Wolves, one of his teammates appeared to get carried away just a little.
Nuno Tavares, perhaps, got a bit too overexcited during the celebrations as he could be seen hitting the Frenchman on the head repeatedly and this continued after the final whistle in addition to screaming something at the striker. The Portugal U21 international then took to social media to reflect on a memorable night in north London.

"Absolute scenes at The Emirates," he wrote on Instagram accompanied with a fire emoji. To which Lacazette brilliantly replied by saying: "We need to talk tomorrow."
It's yet to be confirmed if those talks took place but following Arsenal's 2-0 win over Leicester, Lacazette could soon find himself on the other side of the coin.
After Thomas Partey had broken the deadlock after 10 minutes by glancing home Gabriel Martinelli's corner at the near post, the Ghana international was clearly delighted at netting his second goal of the season.
As he celebrated with his Arsenal teammates, he was hit on the head repeatedly by Lacazette - similar to how Tavares reacted against Wolves - thus prompting a theory amongst supporters on Reddit that the midfielder will be planning talks with his captain.

Interestingly as pointed out by a couple of Reddit users, Lacazette hitting Partey on the head could have been him getting payback for what happened in training ahead of the Leicester game.
Last week, the Frenchman shared an image of his slightly cut foot on Instagram, joking that Partey is a 'killer' after coming off worse following a duel between the pair. Maybe now they are even?
With that said, getting hit on the head after scoring does appear to be a new Arsenal tradition. Although, Lacazette was spared the same action when he broke his long goal drought from the penalty spot just before the hour mark as his head was massaged by Benjamin White during the celebrations.
Furthermore, Partey could have gained a measure of revenge on the Gunners no.9 but opted for a slight pat on the head before leaving the striker to produce his trademark flute celebration.
