Alex Williamson sacked as Scottish Rugby chief executive after investigation

SCOTTISH Rugby has sacked chief executive Alex Williamson following an investigation into his conduct.

Williamson, who took over at Murrayfield in January 2025, was placed on a period of "extended leave" in May while an independent investigation took place.
