Alex Rodriguez saw all the jokes made about his face when he was interviewed during a Minnesota Timberwolves game (reminder: he’s a part-owner of the NBA franchise that’s on the rise).
It was during that interview with the ESPN broadcast that A LOT of people noticed A-Rod’s face looked … different. It was why Sammy Sosa’s name trended for a time. The memes and jokes were everywhere on X (formerly Twitter).
But Rodriguez decided to address all of that with a video: he explained he went on vacation and fell asleep in the sun. Hey, it happens!
“So, everybody calm down,” he added.
