Alex Rider film crew spotted in Bristol after Amazon Prime confirms series three

Film crews have cordoned off a section of Corn Street and are currently occupying the upper floors of the Corn Exchange building. Bristol Live understands they are filming the third series of Alex Rider for Amazon Prime.

The UK production of the spy thriller series is taking place at The Bottle Yard Studios on Whitchurch Lane, with filming across several locations in Bristol. Film crews were also seen last week at Dareshack on Wine Street by Castle Park, also believed to be from the team behind Alex Rider.

The show is an adaptation of the famous teenage book series of the same name. Season three will focus on the fifth book, Scorpia, starring Otto Farrant as the lead road.

In recent weeks, the new series of Doctor Who has been filmed across different areas of Bristol as the city doubles as London, with TV star Anita Dobson spotted on set. The new BBC adaptation of thriller novel, The Killing Kind, has also seen locations across the city masked as the capital.
