Alex Rae believes that Rangers fans have 'every reason' to be excited ahead of the new season after a breathtaking transfer window so far - one that doesn't show signs of slowing down.
The Light Blues have been one of Europe's busiest sides so far with six incomings, all of whom boast genuine quality up and down the pitch. Jack Butland significantly replaces the departure of veteran Allan McGregor, Dujon Sterling offers a different alternative to James Tavernier's quality, Kieran Dowell threatens to offer creativity in the midfield whilst Abdallah Sima, Cyriel Dessers and Sam Lammers have vastly increased the quality in the attacking department.
But the Gers aren't done there. Reports continue to link them with a move for Los Angeles FC midfielder Jose Cifuentes, whilst Michael Beale has suggested that there will be atleast two or three new signings through the door in Govan. And Rae, who played for Rangers for two seasons and won the double in 2004/05, has sounded his appreciation for the Englishman over the early business made.
