Alex Lowry has described the past season as "very disappointing" but he hopes to bounce back for Rangers next term.
The attacker made just 10 appearances over the course of the campaign, with injuries and a change of manager not helping matters.
Lowry had hopes of breaking into the Rangers first-team this campaign, but those aspirations were put on hold.
But now in a social media post to supporters, he insisted he would be back stronger next season.
Writing on Instagram, he said: "Very disappointing season for me personally. Thank you everyone for the support! We go again next year."
Meanwhile, Livingston manager Davie Martindale admits he is delighted to see Robby McCrorie get his chance at Rangers after hailing the goalkeeper as the best professional he has worked with.
McCrorie started four of Rangers’ five post-split Premiership matches as manager Michael Beale gave the 25-year-old the opportunity to prove he can become the long-term successor to Allan McGregor.
Jack Butland is expected to make the move to Ibrox from Crystal Palace this summer but Martindale reckons McCrorie, who he has had twice on loan at the Lions, has shown he is also ready to make the step up.
Martindale said: “Robby is the ultimate professional. I’ve had some very good professionals in my time at Livingston, still have.
“I would say Robbie is top of that, the way he goes about his business on a daily basis is a way to be admired.
"He has obviously had a very good grounding at Rangers, some very good pros round about.
“For me he deserved his opportunity because you would not meet somebody that has put more into the game than Robby McCrorie.
“Mick does not need to throw Robbie into those games but he’s given him the opportunity and Robby has not done himself any harm. He is a fantastic lad, it’s nice to see him getting his just rewards. I know all the hard work he’s put into his game.”
