Known for being polite, understanding and handling sensitive stories very well on The One Show, Alex Jones revealed a new side of her personality in a brutally honest podcast. While appearing on the Parenting Hell podcast, hosted by Rob Beckett and Josh Widdicombe, Alex swore openly and spoke about some of the worst guests she has ever interviewed on The One Show.
She started off the podcast by saying she was sweating, having run back from Sainsbury's after buying "s**t that the kids need, just yoghurt" before saying she had promised to take her youngest son Kit skateboarding, as it was the only way to make him go into nursery that morning, and she didn't actually want to go skateboarding. Also included in the interview she said that Kit threw a wok down the stairs in IKEA and dished the dirt on the worst person she has ever interviewed on The One Show.
Alex revealed that it was Hollywood star Jared Leto who was the worst guest. She said: "I'll tell you what, and he won't mind me saying this, or he might, if he listens to this I'll be really surprised and actually this is what happens when you are a bit of d**k, sorry, Jared Leto." She added: "He was just dressed in Gucci or whatever and just so dismissive and built himself on a different plane to everyone else and I just can't bear people like that". Alex's chat left Josh and Rob in hysterics as she also revealed sometimes she did not post pictures of her children in worry of what her mother would say, quoting one instance where her daughter Annie was not wearing a hat when it was cold.
