The One Show's Alex Jones has signed off from the popular BBC One programme for her festive break. The Welsh presenter hosted her last show of the year on Thursday, December 22.
Joined by her co-star Ronan Keating, the pair sat down on the green sofa to speak to Gavin & Stacey's Rob Brydon and Adjoa Andoh to discuss The Smeds and The Smoos, as well as Ralf Little to talk about Death in Paradise.
As the pair signed off the show by wishing their viewers a very happy Christmas and New Year, Alex then took to Instagam to share a sweet message about the "lovely" team who work so hard behind the scenes.
Sharing a string of photos from the studio, the mum-of-three wrote: "And we are done for 2022! Thank you to the loveliest team who make our job so joyful!
"We may be the ones in front of the camera, but the really talented ones who graft relentlessly are just behind making sure the show is the best it can be.
"Merry Christmas and thank you to the best team and to you for inviting us into your living room night after night x @bbctheoneshow @bbcone."
Alex then took to her Instagram stories to share a relatable post with her followers. Telling them: "Just shouted 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY EVERYONE' as I left the studio tonight. Was there ever a more certain sign that it's time to take a break??"
