Alex Jones has told her 337,000 Instagram followers of the "longest morning" of her life as she waited for her son to return from surgery. The One Show host took to her Instagram stories to reveal her little one was having a routine operation.
Sharing a picture from the hospital Alex explained how she was feeling. She wrote: "Waiting for my little Kit to come back from theatre after a very routine op but feels like the longest morning of my life!"
The BBC Presenter didn't share any more details but did post a picture of an empty hospital bed as she waited for her son. Alex has three children with her husband Charlie Thompson, Kit, who is 3, five-year-old Teddy and baby Annie who will turn one in the summer.
