The One Show presenter Alex Jones has sent a heartwarming message to her fans after describing she's in a 'tricky and challenging patch in life'.
Writing on social media, the Welsh presented told her followers: "Things have been a bit tricky for us recently and in all honesty, I haven’t had time to be on here between working and the children but I randomly logged on and saw all your lovely messages gently asking if we were all ok.
"I was touched by your kindness and so I just wanted to check in and say thank you, and that even though life has been a bit challenging, we are ok and still managing to enjoy the beginning of the holidays and there's still plenty to smile about! (I'll pop some stuff on my stories) #whenlifegivesyoulemons #thekindnessofstrangers."
Wales Online reports how following the post, Alex received a wave of heartfelt replies, with one user writing: "Sending hugs," while another added: "Sending love Alex to you and your family."
Some of Alex's celebrity mates also chimed in with Good Morning Britain's Charlotte Hawkins writing: "Hope all OK, sending love," while Izzy Judd added: "Sending love," followed by love heart emojis.
She made no reference to the post while co-hosting The One Show with former professional footballer Jermaine Jenas yesterday evening in which they previewed the Lionesses' Euro semi-final clash against Sweden. They were also joined by three of the Celebrity MasterChef contestants - Danny Jones, Paul Chuckle and Nancy Dell'Olio.
