Alex Bowen has revealed he and wife Olivia referenced meeting on Love Island in their wedding vows when they tied the knot back in 2018.
The couple, 30 and 28 respectively, met on the ITV2 dating show in 2016, coupled up half-way through the process and made it all the way to the final.
The couple- who are expecting their first child together - spoke about their relationship on their podcast Double Dating, and how they said in their vows meeting each other on Love Island was the "most natural thing in the most unnatural place".
It came during a discussion with Married at First Sight UK couple Tayah Victoria, 25, and Adam Aveling, 26, who said their whirlwind romance had skipped conventional dating.
Adam said filming the E4 show together meant they were "in each other's pockets the whole time," with him adding: "We didn't have the dating stage at all."

Alex said he and Olivia had a similar experience on Love Island, which saw them spend time with only a select group of people for around six weeks in the summer of 2016.
He said: "We was in the same position really. When [we] got married, I think it was in our vows, we said: 'We've got the most natural thing but we found it in the most unnatural place'."
The reality TV star said that people don't usually spend so much time together when they're first dating, saying: "You see someone for about six months, twice a week [usually]."
However, for both couples, their first few weeks involved spending a lot more time together, with their respective shows having sped up the process of dating for them.
Alex and Olivia appeared on the second series of the rebooted Love Island, with them runners-up to winning couple Cara De La Hoyde, 31, and Nathan Massey, 29.
The pair now host their own MTV podcast, Double Dating, in which they "get cosy with another dynamite duo" to ask questions about love, relationships and friendship.
The couple revealed the news they were expecting a baby on New Year’s Day, and she said she was “shocked” by how excited she is to become a mum.
“I never envisioned myself as a mum, even saying the word ‘mum’ sounds so weird to me. But I’ve found myself enthralled by buggies and baby grows. I just want to know everything!” she admitted to OK! Magazine, as she said they’ve decided not to find out about the gender of their unborn baby.
