The agent of Inter Milan defender Alessandro Bastoni has revealed that his player will not be moving club this summer.
The highly-rated Italian had been linked with a move to Manchester United with Erik ten Hag searching for a centre-back. He had also been heavily tipped for a reunion with former Inter boss Antonio Conte at Tottenham.
Bastoni, 23, has been valued at around £50m, but it looks like Inter are not willing to sell the player with two years remaining on his contract. Agent Tullio Tinti was approached by reporters after leaving the club’s headquarters on Wednesday.

The representative, who also has Inter boss Simone Inzaghi among his clients, told them that Bastoni was going nowhere this summer. “Bastoni will certainly remain at Inter,” he said, as transcribed by Football Italia.
“He has a contract with Inter, he is happy to play at Inter and there's no problem. I respect contracts. If they call me, there's no problem.”
Bastoni himself then seemed to confirm this by commenting on a social media post shortly after. He is expected to be in the Italy team that faces England in the Nations League on Saturday.
