Aldi shoppers will no longer be able to access the store's Specialbuys on its website as it axes the popular online service. The UK supermarket confirmed it was terminating its Specialbuys and wine deliveries in an update earlier this year.
Earlier last month, Aldi issued an update, telling The Mirror the exact date these services would end would be Monday, July 10. However, Aldi will still offer its grocery click and collect service, which sees customers order their food shop online to pick up in store.
Shoppers will also still be able to shop for Specialbuys in stores. Customers have this week received an update about the change on the Aldi app.

The update read: "Like Take That, the Creme Egg Mcflurry and a Freddo for 10p, all good things must come to an end. Soon Aldi will no longer sell Specialbuys for home delivery."
The supermarket chain noted that shoppers would be "disappointed" with the change but said it was "more committed than ever to delivering Everyday Low Prices across the entire Aldi range”.
It added: "But don't worry! You'll still be able to shop our amazing range of Specialbuys in-store with new delights landing every Thursday and Sunday and now with almost 1,000 stores across the UK, we'll be ready to welcome you with open arms (and more middle-aisle magic!) Thank you for your support during this transition."
Aldi Specialbuys are limited time products - including everything from beauty to homeware and electronics - which are normally hugely popular with shoppers. For the most in-demand items, shoppers often end up queuing online and in stores to snap up a bargain - as once they are gone, they are gone.
Aldi previously told The Mirror that any staff affected by the changes would be moved to other departments within the company. An Aldi spokesperson said: “As the UK’s cheapest supermarket we are always looking for ways to keep prices low for our customers.
"We have therefore taken the decision to end our Wine and Specialbuys online home delivery services on 10th July. Customers can shop the full range of amazing Wines and Specialbuys at their nearest store or use our grocery Click & Collect service which is available in around 200 stores nationwide.”
