Aldi is hosting an exclusive food and drink event at its Parc Tawe store in Swansea on Thursday, April 14. From 10am to 3pm, the city centre retail park store will be showcasing an array of Welsh suppliers in collaboration with Food and Drink Wales.
Shoppers will be able to try a range of free samples and if the products are popular, they may be seen on Aldi's shelves in the coming weeks.
An array of sweet treats will be on offer, including samples from Tregoes Waffles, Mario’s Ice Cream and Brace’s Bakery – all three of which have already sold products via Aldi in the past. Drink businesses attending include Gower-based FabFour Coffee, founded by several former Wales and British & Irish Lions players, alongside Swansea’s Tomos Watkin Brewery, Wrexham Lager and Drop Bear Bears.
