It’s not officially Christmas until you’ve had that first mulled wine of the year. Of course, we had ours at the Manchester Christmas Markets - but Aldi are selling a kitchen gadget that means you can enjoy gluhwein from the comfort of your home all winter long.
The budget German retailer is stocking a Mulled Wine Warmer that will cost you LESS than two litres of beer and two bratwursts at the Manchester festive markets - if you head where our Dianne Bourne dined.
The £49.99 Specialbuy is ideal if you’re planning a Christmas party, or having the whole family round for Christmas.

The kitchen appliance has a working capacity of 16L, which means you’ll have plenty of hot mulled wine to go around. What’s more is that it only costs around 68p an hour to run .
Aldi said: “Make this Christmas one to remember with this Ambiano Black Mulled Wine Warmer. This is perfect for keeping wine at the ideal temperature at Christmas. It reduces fruit and vegetables, and preserves your wine for your guests to enjoy throughout the evening.”
Made with a stainless steel housing, it has variable temperatures so you can enjoy the wine to whatever temperature you desire between 40 and 100 degrees. It’s certain to make sure your festive season is full of laughter, cheer and most importantly mulled wine .
Although it’s a relatively new product for the retailer, some shoppers have already left five star reviews just days after it went on sale. Suslik said: “Am really pleased with this mulled wine device. This will be on Xmas eve. And after long cold walks.”
Andy L added: “Bought this to heat my sparge water for my homebrew beer system. Works great, heats 16 litres of water from 10c to 80c in just over 35 minutes.”
You can shop the Aldi Mulled Wine Warmer for less than £50 here.
