The end of term is fast approaching and parents across the UK are wondering how they’ll be able to keep the kids entertained for hours on end during the summer holidays. Aldi have launched a number of Specialbuys that are sure to provide endless hours of fun in the sun this summer, including huge inflatables, trampolines and sand pits.
Prices for the budget retailer’s outdoor play range starts at £6.99 for 100 plastic balls , prime for filling up paddling pools and sand pits for added fun.

Meanwhile, the most expensive Specialbuy comes in at £349.99 for a huge forest themed inflatable. Suitable for children aged three to 10, the bouncer play centre can be set up in minutes for ‘hours of jumping fun’.
Aldi said: “Whether it be a chilled day at home or having friends over for a party, this bouncy play centre is suitable for children aged 3-10 years. It features an enclosed play area with side safety nets and an archway entrance with a slide.”
The electric air blower makes sure that the bouncy play centre stays inflated when in use with a constant airflow, and it comes with a carry bag, repair kit, plastic balls, dart balls and none stakes for stability. There’s even a ball pit and a basketball hoop for kids to show off with.
If your children love arts and crafts, the Grafix Paint Your Own Teepee is £34.99 and allows them to personalise their own den, where they can play all summer. Aldi added: “Your little one will love having their very own nook where they can hide and enjoy fun adventures. They'll also love getting the chance to make it completely their own by painting on their favourite colours and designs. Make unforgettable memories with your kid that they'll cherish forever.”
Kids will love time away from the screen with this exciting pirate swing , which comes in at just under £80. It has its own freestanding frame with four height adjustment settings ideal for using throughout the years as they get older. Though suitable for children over the age of three, Aldi warns it will require adult supervision at all times.
An online exclusive, the Large Climbing Dome with Slide is a great piece of equipment if your children love climbing It can be used for climbing, sliding down, hanging off and it can be used as a den with a couple of sheets thrown over the top.
The Sportspower Climbing Dome is virtually weatherproof and easily transportable around the back yard if necessary, and is priced at £179.99. Aldi added “The climber is designed for just the right height, it's not too big and it's not too small and is low enough to the ground so you don't have to worry about your child's safety as they climb.”
There’s also a 4.5ft trampoline on sale for £64.99 and is a brilliant way for kids to burn off energy in the holidays. Best suited to kids aged between three and six years, the Plum trampoline has a secure enclosure for extra safety while the bounce the six-week break away.
Finally if you’re planning lots of family walks over the summer, the kids will love zooming around on this Y Glider Kick & Roll Scooter by Yvolution. The £29.99 scooter comes in pink or blue, and is adjustable and can therefore grow with your child as they develop. Plus, the light up wheels - which don't require batteries - will wow and amaze all passers by.
