Supermarket giant Aldi has been praised for a £39.99 Special Buy gadget that helps to cure aches and pains in just 20 minutes. The budget massage gadget is currently £39.99 on the Aldi website, and has blown shoppers away with how quickly it works.
Aldi's £40 Crane Fitness Massage Gun promises to help to loosen tension knots and tight muscles. It comes with 30 speed levels with 5 different massage heads, and has an auto shut-off after 15 seconds of inactivity.
Kate Lally, SEO editor at our sister site the ECHO, gave the £40 Aldi gadget a go, and was seriously impressed by how quickly and effectively it worked. After years of being slumped at a desk, Kate's back and shoulders are achey, and not what they once were.

As such, she really fancied a massage gun - a gadget which has been praised for its 'magical' and 'soothing' properties as of late. However, many massage guns can cost upwards of £100. Argos is selling higher-end products for £300 - more than ten times the price - so Kate was at first dubious about Aldi's offering.
Here's what Kate said:
Times are tough, and there was just no way I could justify such a lavish purchase, so when Aldi shared the news of its latest SpecialBuy, my interests were certainly piqued. The Crane fitness massage gun is said to "soothe tension knots". Aldi describes it as being "designed to help relax aches and pains after your workout or in your day-to-day life".
In Aldi stores and online for £39.99, it sounded almost too good to be true, but the reviews impressed me. One happy customer said it "makes any pain go away after lifting and is simple to use", while another wrote: "It feels like a solid build and the intensity is good for me".
I ordered it and, when it was delivered a few days later, I immediately charged it up and put it to work. My first opinion was it has a pleasing aesthetic and feels like it will last, and there's a three-year warranty in case it doesn't.
It couldn't be easier to use, and there are five different massage heads with 30 different intensity levels so you can really get into those troublesome muscle knots. There's also a handy guide to where you should, and shouldn't, use the gun and advice on which head to use for which areas of the body.
After 20 minutes of use for two consecutive days, my neck and shoulders feel so much better. I honestly think this gun is worth three times the price Aldi is selling it for.
While there's no replacing a professional massage, this little device was well worth the money and I know I'll get plenty of use out of it for years to come.
You can buy the Crane fitness massage gun for £39.99 on the Aldi website here. As it's a Special Buy, stocks are limited.
