Shoppers are rushing to Aldi to buy a pair of budget straighteners which people are saying are 'much better' than pricey GHDs. The straighteners, which are available to buy on the Aldi website now, have already received plenty of glowing five-star reviews.

One five-star reviewer was so impressed with the £40 Aldi straighteners, they said they're 'better' than GHDs. The review read: "I purchased these for my wife as she found her new GHD’s were quite uncomfortable to use, tending to pull and damage her hair. She says these are much better, smooth to use with a variable temperature control. Excellent price for a quality item."
Another five-star reviewer raved: "Replaced old straighteners, very happy with results, more affordable than some but do a great job." A third wrote: "Very fast to heat and smooth to use. I bought these new straighteners two weeks ago and they are really great.
