Aldi customers have praised one if its perfumes for smelling "exactly the same" as a popular scent by Yves Saint Laurent.
The bargain giant sells Dark Blossom Eau De Parfum, and many shoppers have agreed that is is unmistakably similar to the luxury fashion label's Black Opium perfume.
Costing just £5.99 for a 100ml, Aldi's dupe is approximately £100 cheaper than the real thing — and so a perfect solution who want their favourite scent but can't afford it amid the cost of living crisis.

"Find the perfect scent that suits you making you feel confident no matter where you are. This luxury parfum is the perfect present for a loved one or to add to your collection."

Writing on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, they said: "Black opium without the price tag…smells exactly the same and lasts. £5.99 100ml Aldi."
It wasn't long before other Aldi fans rushed to give their own opinions, and the post has since racked up over 520 likes and almost 560 comments.
One said: "These are amazing my mum brought me one as a gift and 6 hours later mine can still smell it. I've brought various cheaper alternatives such as fm or avon and neither have been long lasting. For 5.99 this is amazing."
"I have this it’s a good buy," a second shared.
A third agreed: "I got one today it smells lovely "
"I bought this yesterday, it’s sooooo nice," agreed a fourth.
"I bought this, it lasts for ages", a fifth said.
Another revealed: "I’ve tried the other fragrances in this range and they are fab!"
One group member meanwhile posted: "Black opium is my favourite. Thank you for posting. I need to go."
Not everyone was quite so keen on the Yves Saint Laurent dupe, however, with one commenting: "These perfumes smell amazing but they don't last half hour unfortunately."
Another echoed: "I bought this a couple of days ago after a seeing a similar post and I found it barely lasted more than a few minutes, I’ve bought dupes from Next, Primark etc., as well as original perfume and whilst I like Lacura products this was a waste. The Superdrug body sprays are far superior."
