Budget supermarket Aldi has shoppers obsessed with its latest SpecialBuy item, which customers say is "as good as YSL".
Aldi’s SpecialBuys often prove popular with shoppers, many of whom anxiously await Thursdays and Sundays to see what they’ll be able to get their hands on. Recently, SpecialBuy products have included everything from hanging egg chairs to hot tubs - but this time, it's the retailer’s £2.99 Lacura Concealer Pen that shoppers are loving.
Similar in design - but not price - to YSL’s Touche Eclat, the concealer pen is gold, with a push button pen feature. According to the product description, the concealer will “hide blemishes and under eye shadows” and offers a choice of three shades.

The product has racked up many five star reviews on the Aldi website, with shoppers noting its similarities with the YSL version. Others claimed it is the “best concealer ever”.
Among the reviews, one person said: “I stopped buying YSL because of this! It's perfect. I used to faithfully buy YSL Touche Eclat but stopped when I discovered this product.. it's just as good if not better and a fraction of the cost. Please please bring it back”.
A second wrote: “Best concealer ever!! You would think this is so much more expensive than it is, the coverage it great and applies so easily. When will you be getting more in stock???” and a third added: “As good as YSL!!! Bring it back!!!”
A fourth shopper said: “One of the best concealers! Love this product I use mine for acne scarring and spots and it covers really well and a little goes a long way! Stocked up this time because there only available for limited time!”
Another wrote: “Best concealer ever! This has to be the best concealer I have ever used. It blends beautifully, leaving eyes looking bright and covering up dark shadows or blemishes. Well worth the money.”
While Aldi’s version of the product is priced at £2.99, the YSL alternative will usually set you back around £28. This means shoppers can save roughly £25 by opting for the cheaper Aldi product.
