Aldi shoppers have been left in stitches after spotting a rather rude looking dog toy in stores - and it has left them all making the same joke.
The budget supermarket regularly delights fans with its iconic range of SpecialBuys, but their latest middle-aisle product has left shoppers with inappropriate thoughts.
The Manchester Evening News reports that one shopper shared a snap of the supermarket's new £2.99 SpecialBuy dog toy and it left multiple people's minds in the gutter.
The unintentionally X-rated toy is a ribbed sweetcorn toy with a suction cup, so you can stick it anywhere you want - and it has garnered attention for all the wrong reasons - many of which you are probably already thinking.
Sharing the snap to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Group on Facebook, one shopper wrote: "New premium DOG toys in at aldi, with suction cup! Only £2.99!"
And it wasn't long before the jokes came in thick and fast from thousands of amused shoppers, who thought that it looked like it belonged in a different store.
Adam Leonard said: "Ribbed for extra pleasure."
James Gibbons wrote: "What in the name of Anne Summers is this."
Charlene Fawcett laughed: "I’m sure A&E will be seeing lots of these."
Becky Louise said: "Yeah… ‘for the dogs’… *sees suction pad at the bottom* definitely not for the dogs."
Lori Honey said: "Absolutely no one is purchasing that for their dogs."
Ashleigh Winchester said: "You just know someone is going to end up in A&E saying they tripped up at this accidently got lodged in their rear end! Some people just can't train their dogs to put away their toys properly."
Georjy Cook commented: "'dog toy' yeh alright."
Kevin Briggs said: "Ann summers selling similar dog toys."
The Manchester Evening News has contacted Aldi for comment.
