Aldi shopper shares hack to buy Prime in bulk and people are fuming over it

One Aldi shopper has come up with a savvy hack to get crates of the popular Prime energy drink - and it has left people fuming.

On Thursday morning, people were queuing in the early hours of the morning and even clambering over one another to get to the highly sought-after drink.

Birmingham Live reports that now one customer has shared a cheeky trick to make his own cash instore.

One mum explained the 'hack' on Facebook: “To the man in Aldi this morning that thought it would be a good idea to load his basket with Prime drink and open them all thinking they would sell them to you as you’d opened them.

"Shame on you. Swearing and abusing the staff as there was a limit of one of each flavour per customer.

“Well done to the staff at Aldi for taking them off of him and not allowing him to buy them. Because of your greed some kids missed out.”

One angry shopper replied: "I hate people like that. He was probably trying to rip people off by charging £20 a bottle. He should be ashamed."

Shoppers have been desperate to get their hands on the drink, which was created by YouTube royalty KSI and Logan Paul. Aldi has become the second supermarket in the UK to sell the popular drink, and put a limit on sales before it even hit the shelves.

They've restricted customers to one bottle per flavour each, meaning one customer can get three bottles of the stuff.

In a statement, Aldi said: "The viral hydration drink created by two popular YouTube stars, KSI and Logan Paul, is available to buy for just £1.99 in Aldi stores nationwide on 29 th December. The drink will be a Specialbuy – and as with all Specialbuys, once they’re gone, they’re gone!

"The supermarket is expecting high demand so a purchase limit of one of each variant per customer has been set to ensure as many people as possible get the opportunity to buy the product."
