An Aldi shopper has claimed to have witnessed what she has dubbed "the best hack ever" to make packing food much easier at the till. The mystery mum was so inspired by her fellow shopper's genius she went over to ask if she could take a photo of the trick.
She admitted the other person "probably thought I was a bit nuts" as she asked to take the photo, but when she shared it online it went viral, with many others finding it just as interesting and branding it "genius". As reported by the Mirror, the trick was simple, involving just a tissue box and carrier bags.
Writing on an Aldi Facebook group, the woman explained how the other shopper had stored her plastic bags neatly inside the box, compactly stored to allow her to pull one out at a time, like tissues. She said: "As I pushed my buggy to the bagging counter, I see the woman next to me pull her plastic grocery sacks out of a Kleenex box.

"I asked her to see the Kleenex box and then laughed right out loud telling her just how brilliant she is. She probably thought I was a bit nuts because I wanted a picture of it… But I just had to share. She says she keeps this little Kleenex box in the car and always has little grocery sacks handy. Just plain stinkin’ smart."
The post garnered lots of attention online, with hundreds taking the time to comment. One person replied: "This is exactly what I call one of the 'Why didn't I think of that?' moments that I have daily! Brilliant."
A second wrote: "She’s a genius! I’m stealing that idea to keep in my car." Others said they have used the method to store bags at home, with some suggesting an old baby wipe box works just as well, but added that they had never considered taking it with them to the supermarket.
Someone else added: "I keep a box under all of my sinks, my garage and laundry room but I never thought of one in my car for Aldi stops. Great idea."
